So I am on a roll with getting back into my card/sketch challenges! I have rejoined my usual set of stamp companies and their challenges, so I'm deciding to branch out further to participate in some new challenges with other stamp companies (whom I own their stamps or am simply a *fan* of their stamps).
One of those such companies is Paper Smooches. Let me just say: their stamps are
so VERY adorable! I recall first seeing the images in Card Maker Magazine a few years ago and just ooh-ed and aahh-ed over the images. I have long-admired their stamps and within recent months was lucky enough to add some of their stamps to my inventory:
Birthday Buddies and
Sugar Rush.
I decided to partake in the
Sparks Challenge for Jan 12th - 25th, which is an inspiration challenge using this photo:

Using the Sugar Rush stamp set, here is the card I cr8'd from the inspiration photo:

I used my Copics to color in the donuts, but wanted to add some dimension & interest to the images. On the "icing" of the donuts I applied a generous coating of Matte Accent by Ranger Inkessentials. (You can see it better on the close-up images, but even then it was difficult to capture.) It cr8'd that look of *glaze* which appears on most yummy donuts. It made me wanna get in the vehicle and head on over to Dunkin' Donuts - seriously!

It was great fun using the inspiration photo to cr8 my card, and using my Paper Smooches stamps... I can't help but to smile (they are just THAT super cute and bubbly)! One thing is for certain, I have completed my first Sparks Challenge and I can see more in my future!
Thanks for taking a look at my cr8'ion! Hope you enjoy it, as much as I did to cr8 it!
Happy Cr8'ing!
fun card!
