(Penny) Black Friday

Happy Friday to everyone!  Today being April Fool's Day that means the pranks are high mode.  All jokes & pranks aside I delved into 2 Penny Black Challenges & combined them into one card.  You see, I'm  relatively new to participating in card challenges & still in my "learning" stages.  It doesn't matter so long as I am having fun - & I AM!

This card is for the Penny Black Blog Challenge (Embossing) AND the Penny Black Saturday Challenge (Recycling).  The dog image is from the Critter Party transparent set, & the flowers (embossed onto the teal paper) are from the Mimi in Paris set (also transparent).  The embossed flowers were colored in with Copics for greater distinction on the pattern paper.  I recycled everything on this card: the papers, the stickers, the chipboard piece... even the stamped image (as it was originally on a card that afterwards, I much didn't care for the end result).  It's funny how you can pull these all together & really turn out a card which is quite pleasing.  I am really happy with the end result, & am intending it for my hunny.  He's my biggest supporter of my cr8've works, so this one is for him!
