The Paper Shelter Challenge #2

Good Sunday to all!

I found THE cutest digi stamps this week as I was scrolling through some entries for this week's Mid-Week Throw-down on the OWH Blog.  It was the cutest little flower cartoon from The Paper Shelter.  So I popped over to their online store & was instantly smitten with their designs & selections.  What was even more impressive is their pricing on the digi images, which made it easier to "justify" my purchases.  (At least that's what I tell my cr8've self.)

Of course I purchased the Funny Sunflower image, but I also purchased a Gothic Girl & My Lovely Pet (of course, always something with a dog/puppie will tug at my heart).  Their blog offers a challenge, which I decided to participate in because it just spoke to me & one of the new images I purchased from them.

This week's challenge is Seeing Red - which means the card is to be done all in red.  Perfect & I knew just what I was going to do!  Here's my entry for this week's challenge:
TPS Challenge#2:  Seeing Red
Supplies used:  Digi image:  The Paper Shelter; ink: Copic Ciao & Spica Glitter Markers; paper: DCWV & The Paper Company; bling embellishments: Michael's Stores, Inc.; ribbon: Bobbin Ribbon.

This Gothic Girl image just screamed out for me to make the card for this challenge, & I really enjoyed the process of coloring her hair & outfit.  In fact, I had printed multiple images and played around a bit with the coloring for other card ideas.  I think you can tell how much fun I was having, & maybe just a bit of nostalgia thinking back on my teenage years.
Gothic Girl Options for other cards
I hope you enjoyed as well.  Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Cr8'ing!
