K 'n K Designs February Release

I'm happy to announce that my dog, Colby was the inspiration for the images being released TODAY over at K 'n K DESIGNS.  We lost Colby over a year and a half ago, but I miss his sweet little spirit so much.  I had been admiring the images from K 'n K DESIGNS for some time, and first became familiar with the Kolar images done for Operation Write Home

I was thrilled with the precious images that Katlyn Traxler (K 'n K DESIGNS) cr8'd, and you can see from the picture I have here on my blog just how well she captured Colby.  The images being released today are "Pals" and "Here For You," and are available for sale at the K 'n K DESIGNS Store.  Working with Katlyn's  adorable images, I cr8'd these cards especially for today's release.  (The images were colored using Copic Ciao Markers.)

The first card using "Pals" that pairs Colby with Pickles; I used Basic Grey's Max & Whiskers papers, accented with pearls from Queen & Co., and cappuccino twine from The Twinery.

This next card uses "Here For You," showing Colby resting and getting some tender care from his bunny friend, Juniper.  Colby always loved being petted on his head, just above his eyes and he would fall right to sleep... just as he has done here in this sweet image.  Using papers from My Mind's Eye's Blue Fancy, cork sheet, open cardstock, and ribbon and rhinestone bling from Michael's Stores.

Well, I certainly hope you enjoyed viewing my latest cr8'ions.  I was thrilled and honored to bring them to you today, and so happy to have Colby's spirit living on in these wonderful digi images that are now available at K 'n K DESIGNS.  Thank you Katlyn at K 'n K DESIGNS!!

Happy Cr8'ing!
